Sassy is defined by Google as lively, bold, and full of spirit. Those are attributes I want us to have in common. Through this blog, I hope to help you find YOUR sassy flow.

I'm sure you noticed that "flow" isn't spelled correctly in my blog title, so this is a good time to introduce myself...
My name is Francelin Lopez. (See it?) I was inspired by my fellow Latina and Bronx native, Jennifer Lopez (JLo), to use FLo as an alias. However, I don't pronounce it ef-lō... I pronounce it "flow". (Yes, like the Progressive girl.) Why "flow" and not ef-lō? Because it pairs well with the one word my husband chooses to describe me by... Sassy! Apparently my sassiness just "flows". ;)



(Moving on...) I am 35 years young and a mother, wife, and dog owner. 


I decided to write Your Sassy Flo because I believe that your uniqueness should be portrayed in as many ways as possible, in particular through beauty and fashion. Many times we lose a bit of ourselves when attempting to recreate the looks we see on Pinterest, in magazines, on our friends, etc. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with seeing something you like and trying it. I actually think that's GREAT! The issue is when we want that look to look that way. Exactly that way. 


Many times we try to replicate a style and expect it to appear the way it did when we saw it and decided we just had to try it. Sometimes we are pleased with the results, but other times we just set ourselves up for a letdown. It may be because the shirt doesn't drape like we expected or the lipstick just isn't the color we thought it was. "It looked so great on her though!" Well, beauties... It's time to understand that we are not "her" and we don't have to look exactly like "her". We are all amazing individuals and we have to learn how to express that individuality, even when using someone (or something) as inspiration. 



From the hair on your head to the polish on your toes, I want you to look at yourself and say "I rock this. This is ME." I promise to help you along!

I'm back!

Hello, to all three folks who follow me. LOL!  It's been quite a while since I have blogged. Honestly, I forgot I had even created this blog! Life happens and, as we all know, things become forgotten or ignored. Anyway, let's catch up... Since I last blogged, I became a grandma, moved from Kansas to Georgia, and decided to go back to college. We are actually in the process of moving again (to Texas)  in a few short months! My Grand-daughter My sweet grand-daughter, Mila, was born in April of 2017. I had the honor of being there to coach my daughter through labor and delivery and live only 2 blocks away from her since then. Sadly, in a few days, my daughter is moving with her husband overseas.
