I'm back!

Hello, to all three folks who follow me. LOL!  It's been quite a while since I have blogged. Honestly, I forgot I had even created this blog! Life happens and, as we all know, things become forgotten or ignored. Anyway, let's catch up... Since I last blogged, I became a grandma, moved from Kansas to Georgia, and decided to go back to college. We are actually in the process of moving again (to Texas)  in a few short months! My Grand-daughter My sweet grand-daughter, Mila, was born in April of 2017. I had the honor of being there to coach my daughter through labor and delivery and live only 2 blocks away from her since then. Sadly, in a few days, my daughter is moving with her husband overseas. My heart is breaking, but I understand that we only keep our children for a short while, and that I have been more than blessed to have been able to spend this time with my grand-daughter.  Kansas to Georgia Our move from Kansas to Georgia (in December...

Makeup can be quite pricey, especially if you are (or become) a makeup junkie! Here are some tips to help you save a few bucks: The obvious... Check out the SALE section. Items that are seasonal will likely go on sale after the season is over. Also, discontinued items are likely to be found in the sale section, just don't get too attached to those, as they'll be hard or impossible to find once the remaining the stock is sold. P.S. I hear that Sephora places their most expensive items at eye-level, so try looking at the lower shelves to see what you find! :) Shop discount sites, like HauteLook and Beauty Encounter . If you're okay with purchasing gently used products, look into resale sites, such as  MUABS . Most of the sellers are artists just trying to get rid of excess makeup. You can sanitize products with isopropyl alcohol, like Alcone  (which is recommended for beauty products), or use products made specifically for sanitizing makeup, like those fro...

I've heard it so many times... "I want to wear makeup, but have no clue where to start!" Breathe, bella... Even the most amazing makeup artists started somewhere! To me, makeup is an art. It's a form of expression. Not only does make-up enhance your natural beauty, but it should say something about who you are. You should wear it confidently. If you're wondering where to start, I think the following list will prove to be helpful... Skin care should be your priority, so we'll begin there. A  gentle makeup remover  is a "must have". Sleeping with your makeup on can be damaging to your skin. Give your face a break at night... Your skin (and pillow cases) will thank you. For puffy bags, use an  eye cream . Not only will it help reduce the puffiness, but it'll help your concealer go on smoother and avoid creasing. Find a moisturizer with SPF . You may think you don't need a moisturizer, but once you start washing your ...

Who are YOU?

Sassy is defined by Google as  lively, bold, and full of spirit.  Those are attributes I want us to have in common. Through this blog, I hope to help you find YOUR sassy flow.  Image from Google I'm sure you noticed that "flow" isn't spelled correctly in my blog title, so this is a good time to introduce myself... My name is Francelin Lopez. (See it?) I was inspired by my fellow Latina and Bronx native, Jennifer Lopez (JLo), to use FLo as an alias. However, I don't prono unce it ef-lō... I pronounce it "flow". (Yes, like the Progressive girl.) Why "flow" and not  ef-lō ? Because it pairs well with the one word my husband chooses to describe me by... Sassy! Apparently my sassiness just "flows". ;) (Moving on...)  I am 35 years young and a mother, wife, and dog owner.  I decided to write  Your Sassy Flo  because I believe that your uniqueness should be portrayed in as many ways as possible, in particular ...
